Ten foreigners were arrested for violating the Immigration Act, Chapter 17 and were taken to the Law Enforcement Division for further investigation.

The arrests were made following the Operasi Kakas conducted by the Department of Immigration and National Registration targeting rental houses in Mukim Kilanas. Among the offences found were overstaying in the country after their immigration passes had expired; failing to produce any valid documents; working on a visit pass and re-entering the country illegally after being deported.
